The Martinique Promotion Bureau/CMT U.S.A. reported that the island's tourism infrastructure emerged unscathed following a 7.4 magnitude earthquake Friday, which according to the U.S. Geological Survey struck 90 miles deep in the ocean floor 13 miles northwest of Martinique at 3:00 pm EST. Wire Service reports indicated several buildings had been damaged on the island.
