Apple Vacations Trumpets Seasonal Pittsburgh-Jamaica Service
Apple Vacations will launch nonstop Saturday service from Pittsburgh to Montego Bay, Jamaica, effective December 22 through April 19. Apple Vacations flies USA3000 Airlines, using the Airbus A320 configured with 168 seats.
“For years our Pittsburgh travel agents have been asking for new nonstop service from Apple, with Jamaica the top priority,” said Timothy Mullen, senior vice president. “The new all-inclusive hotels being developed in Jamaica by Bahia Principe, Palladium, Iberostar and Secrets helped solidify our decision. Jamaica’s popularity is growing at impressive rates.”
Basil Smith, Jamaica’s director of tourism, added: “The Jamaica Tourist Board values the partnership with Apple Vacation, which continues to provide a range of packages and incentives for travel to Jamaica. The new Pittsburgh nonstop illustrates the increasing ease of travel to Jamaica, which is an important focus in our initiatives to boost visitor arrivals.”
