The Saint Lucia Piton Awards, which reward top booking travel agents and agencies with cash and hotel incentives, will re-launch in March as part of the Caribbean island’s Preferred Agent Saint Lucia Specialist (PASS) education and training program.

Despite the recent shutdown of visa-processing services, "demand for the people-to-people programs is not slowing down," said Tom Popper, president of tour operator Insight Cuba.
"We are taking new bookings and are confident this problem will be resolved."

Even though its flights to and from Venezuela are full, it appears that Curacao airline Insel Air will take drastic measures against the South American country. According to the morning newspaper Extra, Insel Air will halt its operations to and from Venezuela.
