The island nation of Grenada is hoping that a meeting with senior executives of American Airlines to be held this week will result in the return of the airline to the destination. Grenadian Tourism Minister. Brenda Hood and two members of the Grenada Airlift Committee, chairman Michael Mc lntyre and Sir Royston Hopkin, left the island on Tuesday for Miami, where they will be meeting with the decision makers of American Airlines.

Since May 1, under a codeshare arrangement, Iberia is offering its customers direct flights between Madrid and Cancun. The flights will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The QIK solutions will give Caribbean Star and Caribbean Sun the ability to create highly customized user access to real-time host systems, databases, peripheral devices and other information sources through a highly flexible GUI, allowing the airline to maximize return on investment for its existing computing environment.

GOL, the Brazilian low-cost carrier, announced it has received authorization from the International Relations Department of the ANAC (National Agency of Civil Aviation) to operate regular flights to Santiago de Chile.
