Iberia to Offer Nonstop Flights to Cancun
Since May 1, under a codeshare arrangement, Iberia is offering its customers direct flights between Madrid and Cancun. The flights will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
For this service 387-seat A330/300 airbus will be used for the flight of a little less that ten hours. It will take off from Madrid to ease connections with Iberia´s domestic and European flights.
Iberia now covers Mexico more thoroughly than any other European airline, with thirteen direct flights each week between Madrid and Mexico City.
In addition to the Mexican capital and the popular holiday resort of Cancun, Iberia offers its customers another seven Mexican destinations under codeshare arrangements with other airlines.
The new service to Cancun also beefs up Iberia´s position in the Caribbean, where it also operates nonstop flights between Spain and Santo Domingo, Havana and Puerto Rico´s San Juan.
