JetBlue Airways Corporation has begun Orlando’s only daily nonstop service to San Jose, Costa Rica’s Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO), the carrier’s first Central American destination and ninth country in its route network.
Air Jamaica is offering travelers a Spectacular Spring Sale featuring specially priced one-way fares are available for purchase until March 31. These fares are one-way and valid for travel through June 24 combinable with any available fare on the return. All tickets must be purchased by March 31. Government taxes and fees are additional.
JetBlue Airways said that it plans to kick off service to yet another new destination from Boston this year. Beginning June 19, JetBlue will offer year-round service to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, subject to receipt of foreign government approval.
Virgin America unveiled a new entertainment lineup on its touch-screen entertainment platform, Red. This spring, travelers on Virgin America will be able to use the Red touch-screen on their seatback to select from a new library of 25 on-demand films, including Oscar-winning and nominated films like “Slumdog Millionaire,” “Doubt,” “The Dark Knight” and “Tropic Thunder.”
