Caribbean Airlines (CAL) is pushing hard to have everything in place for its return to London from Port-of-Spain, but because the Arthur Lok Jack Board, which initiated and managed the change from BWIA to CAL sold the prized Heathrow slots.
The controversial air passenger duty on travel from the UK is set to rise again next month. As of April 1, travelers to the Caribbean will pay about $260 extra per ticket. That’s an increase from $238.
