Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts recently opened the Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita, a tropical sanctuary that takes its inspiration from the dense mangroves and lush greenery that line the east Mauritian coast.

The no-nonsense approach to the small percentage of holidaymakers who are rowdy in resort follows an increased focus on customer service, with Tim Williamson recently appointed in the new position of customer director. Williamson said he had already “fired” two problem customers. This could mean barring them from taking future holidays with the company, he admitted.
Delta Air Lines reported results for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2008. Excluding special items, Delta’s net loss for the quarter was $26 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, despite a more than $800 million year-over-year increase in fuel costs related to higher prices.
Keeping pace with the decreasing prices for crude oil and kerosene, Lufthansa will reduce the fuel surcharge on its flights. The fuel surcharge on domestic German and intra-European routes will decrease by $3 to $32 per flight segment.
Emini Equities said in November it will begin selling 27 two-bedroom condominiums in the Punta Mita resort community north of Puerto Vallarta. Emini Equities is the developer of Ayia Punta Mita, a complex of 2,600-square-foot condos ranging in price from $700,000 to $1.2 million.
