Azamara Cruises today announced the appointment of industry veteran Edie Bornstein as vice president of Sales and Marketing for the brand. Edie brings more than 25 years of experience in the global cruise, travel, and technology industries, most recently serving as Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships for Carnival Cruise Lines.
The Air Transport Association of America (ATA) reported that passenger revenue based on a sample group of carriers fell by 21 percent in July 2009 versus the same month in 2008 –the ninth consecutive month in which passenger revenue has fallen from the prior year.
