Mandarin Oriental Group Introduces Meeting Edge Package

The Mandarin Oriental Group’s new Meeting Edge package is available at 12 Mandarin Oriental properties until March 31, 2011. It provides a flexible solution for group bookings of 10 rooms or more.

Designed to offer meeting planners value and flexibility in a challenging environment, groups confirmed and operated by March 31, 2011, are eligible for the package which guarantees a group rate lower than the best available rate by a minimum of 20 percent as well as a credit to the master account of up to 10 percent.

Participating hotels include Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s newest additions in Barcelona, Boston, Las Vegas and Marrakech, as well as international hubs such as Geneva, London and New York. The offer is applicable to new group bookings from July 15, 2009, to March 31, 2011, with 10 or more guestrooms and is subject to availability at selected Mandarin Oriental properties.

The rate guarantee is at time of booking and includes all buying channels (with commission paid up to maximum of 10 percent per event). The percentage of credit is determined as follows: 5 percent credit if total master account spend is less than or equal to $44,999, 7 percent credit if total master account spend is between $45,000 to $79,999, and 10 percent credit if master account spend is greater than or equal to $80,000.

Any additional meeting offer components may vary slightly by city or country based on the specific needs of each package. The offer cannot be combined with any other offers.
