Consumers in Russia regard spending on travel and holidays as a top priority, according to exclusive research unveiled this week at the WTM Vision Conference in Moscow. Forecasts by Euromonitor International reveal that holidays are the most popular sector for expenditure – above categories such as cinema/theatre visits, new technology and clothing/footwear.
Norwegian Cruise Line has canceled calls this week for Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Jewel in Roatan, Honduras, following the death of a crew member there in a suspected robbery. In a statement posted on its Facebook page, Norwegian said it was shocked and saddened by the incident, which occurred on April 6.
