On September 23, the Venezuelan Association of Airlines published a report detailing the reduction in both frequencies and seats of all international airlines flying from and to Venezuela. Only Ecuadorian airline TAME has not reduced its operations in Venezuela. Overall reduction in frequencies and seats ranges between 9 percent and 81 percent.
Right now, the airport is only accepting emergency supply planes and evacuation flights while it repairs from the storm, which tore the roof off one terminal and caused ceiling panels to fall in another. The buildings "still need work" before the airport can reopen to passengers.
