Mr. Mahdi Amjad, Executive Chairman and CEO of Omniyat, and Mr. Gabriel Escarrer, CEO and Vice Chairman of Melia Hotels International, have signed an agreement for the next hot new hotel opening in Dubai in early 2016, ME Dubai.

Spain’s Grupo Martinon has expanded its operations in the Dominican Republic with the opening of a new luxury hotel – the Breathless Resort & Spa – on the Uvero Alto beaches in the eastern tourist enclave of Punta Cana.

The Westin St John Resort & Villas is planning a $35 million expansion and renovation project, the resort and Starwood Vacation Ownership announced. The project will include the launch of the new Coral Vista Villas and enhancements to the resort’s guestrooms and facilities.
