British Airways has announced an increase in flights to Antigua & Barbuda, at a time when the airline has been cutting back in the Caribbean. Antigua & Barbuda is the only Caribbean destination to gain flights.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of regional airline LIAT Mr. Brian Challenger has called for more cooperation among players in the region’s travel and tourism sectors to help resolve the main constraints faced by air travelers.

Chief Executive Officer of low-cost carrier Redjet Ian Burns has accused Caribbean governments of seeking to protect their own aviation interests by failing to deliver on an open skies agreement.
