American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will begin daily round-trip jet service this fall between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Hermanos Serdan International Airport (PBC) in Puebla, Mexico.

United Airlines has expanded a recent fare increase from short flights to longer ones too. United added $10 per round trip to base fares for flights longer than 500 miles, The Associated Press reported.

JetBlue Airways Corp. (JBLU) plans to increase its flights to Colombia and open a new route between Bogota and Puerto Rico in the second half of 2013, Portafolio reported, citing company Chief Executive Officer David Barger.

Sabre Travel Network, a global technology company serving travel agencies and suppliers, has extended an agreement with AviancaTaca to distribute its fares, schedules and ancillaries to agencies and corporations using the Sabre global distribution system (GDS).
