JetBlue’s plan to grow its capacity on the high side for the US industry by 6.5 percent to 8.5 percent in 2012 is reflected in a planned rollout of new destinations to the Caribbean, Florida and Latin America during the fourth quarter of 2012.
British Airways has announced the introduction of its award-winning, new First class service on four of its popular Caribbean routes from Gatwick this summer. Customers flying on holidays to Barbados , Bermuda, St Lucia and Port of Spain in Trinidad will be able to experience the new British Airways premium cabin.
Travelport, the business services provider to the global travel industry, and Venezuelan air carrier, Avior Airlines, have today jointly announced a new agreement. The deal also includes an upgrade to Direct Sell and Seamless Availability which enable real-time reservation and confirmation of bookings.
For a limited time, early bookers will receive fares from as low as $598 with airberlin for travel this winter (Nov. 1 through Feb. 28). The fares include all taxes from New York (JFK) to destinations throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland based on roundtrip travel.
Interjet, Mexico's second largest air carrier and a growing presence in the U.S.-Mexico market, on Aug. 2 launched its first flight from New York JFK to Mexico City. The daily service adds a third gateway city in the US for Interjet.
