OnTheSnow, the snow sports website, has announced several new website enhancements and mobile applications designed to give skiers and snowboarders more comprehensive and accessible information on skiing and riding, including a new iPhone Gear Guide application, free snow reporting mobile applications, a new iPad application, and a new resort photo and video section on the website. The company also announced the launch of new Brazilian and Russian OnTheSnow websites and the opening of its European headquarters in Innsbruck, Austria.

Travelport has renewed a long-term agreement with TravelPlan Partners trading as FCm Travel Solutions Ireland and Abbey Travel, in the Republic of Ireland. The Mexico Tourism Board launched the Visit Mexico iPhone application -- the first iPhone travel application to provide nationwide coverage. Users can select to receive information from six regions and all 32 states, in addition to receiving in-depth information about 27 top tourist destinations. The app includes several features, such as online news and weather, interesting activities, videos and Google Map links for top destinations.
