Two million travelers have visited Cuba so far this year, so its tourism goes at a brisk pace in its race for reaching for the first time three million international visitors.
The Turks and Caicos Islands received a total of 199,347 stopover arrivals in the first half of 2014, a 25 percent increase compared to the same period in 2013, according to newly-released government figures.

Nicaragua’s recent investment in new tourism facilities and promotion is paying off as the latest statistics show an increase of 8.4 percent in the number of foreign visitors to the country between January and May 2014, compared to the same period last year. In total some 545,174 guests visited the country.
Anguilla saw a 2.6 percent improvement in the number of tourist stopover arrivals in the first half of 2014, according to new data from the Caribbean Tourism Organization.
