Tour operator Pleasant Holidays expanded its 2009 Caribbean program by adding seven destinations and 42 new hotels and resorts. The new destinations are Antigua, Anguilla, Barbados, Bermuda, St. Martin/Saint Maarten, St. Vincent and The Grenadines.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. has selected Brazilian cruise industry veteran Ricardo Amaral as managing director of its operations in Brazil. In the newly created position, Mr. Amaral will oversee all commercial and operational activities for three of the company's brands, Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises. Mr. Amaral will assume his new position in January.

The 3rd session of the Joint Interministerial Greece-Croatia Economic Cooperation Committee took place at the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Croatian Deputy Economy, Employment and Entrepreneurship Minister Tamara Obradovic Mazal and Deputy Foreign Minister Petros Doukas and examined the strengthening of cooperation in a series of important sectors of the economy, investments and trade.
