United Vacations is offering up to 50 percent off packages including stays at Starwood Hotels & Resorts for travel March 19 through Sept. 7. The offer is running through March 23. Hotel rates are as low as $85 per room, per night plus tax.

Norwegian Cruise Line named industry veteran Roberto Martinoli as president and COO. He is responsible for all aspects of fleet operations, including the construction of NCL’s largest Freestyle Cruising vessel, Norwegian Epic. He reports to NCL’s CEO Kevin Sheehan, who formerly held the president title.
Disney Cruise Line will name its two new ships the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. Construction on the two ships commenced last week at Germany’s Meyer Werft shipyard. The Dream is scheduled to enter service in 2011, the Fantasy in 2012.
