Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has appointed Jim Curtis as area director of sales and marketing, Caribbean. In addition to overseeing sales and marketing efforts for Starwood’s Caribbean cluster, Mr. Curtis will manage sales and marketing for The Westin St. John Resort & Villas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Aruba Convention Bureau named Ishmael Kolthoff sales director for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region.
