WestJet will fly volunteer/relief workers from recognized relief organizations operating in Haiti on its regularly scheduled flights from Canada to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

Republic Airways is closing down Lynx Aviation, Frontier’s turboprop subsidiary. Lynx will close shop in April, Republic said, and 175 jobs will be cut. The move is part of Republic’s “fleet simplification,” following last year’s acquisitions of Frontier and Midwest.
