U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) are working together to remind summer travelers of document requirements to travel into both countries. The two agencies want to educate travelers about these requirements to make their travel experience during the busy summer season a more enjoyable one.

Frequent leisure and business travelers are willing to ante up as much as $150 to join a trusted traveler program that would speed their trips through airport security, according to a new study commissioned by the U.S. Travel Association (USTA). That matches well with the trusted traveler program that the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is currently considering.

A Michigan man who ran a residential center for poor children in Haiti has been indicted on charges of child sex tourism, federal prosecutors said Friday. Matthew Andrew Carter, 66, of Brighton, Michigan, forced boys at the Morning Star Center, which provided food, shelter and education, to engage in sexual conduct in exchange for gifts, money or continued care, the US Attorney’s Office in Miami said.
