The leaders of the travel and tourism industry attending the 12th Global Summit of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) in Tokyo last week, have committed to work together to have governments improve visa-entry procedures and systems to stimulate travel demand.

Central America´s regional tour operator, EXPLORE, a division of Latin America Experts LLC, announced on Friday that the first tour group ever from the People´s Republic China has successfully completed a one-week visit to Guatemala and Honduras.
Frontier Airlines has begun the layoffs it announced in February. The airline will lay off 446 workers in Milwaukee. About half are flight crew members who will be reassigned to bases outside of Milwaukee.
