The director of the Dominican Republic's Miss Universe contest revealed in San Juan, Puerto Rico earlier this week that the international pageant is scheduled to be held in the Caribbean country this year, AP reports. Magaly Febles said the New York-based organization is waiting for Dominican tourism officials to give the go-ahead.
