The Fishing Company of Santiago de Cuba province (PESCASAN by its Spanish acronym) markets new provisions diversifying thus its production with the added value of the industry, which allows to process 90 percent of the capturing on the 49 micro-dams and 17 reservoirs.

The management of regional airline LIAT has responded to recent media reports about proposed job cuts at the company. In October, LIAT said it was about to embark on its annual budget planning exercise and to put in place its operational plans for 2015.

An unruly passenger forced a Cuba-bound flight Wednesday to divert to the Island, where he was arrested. The passenger was subsequently arrested and taken to Hamilton Police Station, where he was processed and detained.
