Our business doesn´t just have one type of ´customer´ where a single set of facts and figures will meet everyone´s needs,” said Vanessa Cotton, managing director of the venue´s conference and events division. “We wanted to communicate the ExCeL London ´experience´ and speak to each of them in their own language and in a way that reflects their individual needs.”
Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Airport CEO Jeff Fegan is submitting a letter of support to the U.S. Department of Transportation supporting low-cost carrier startup Virgin America´s application for a U.S. airline license. Virgin America has expressed interest in flying long haul flights out of DFW.

Don C. Robinson, a 34-year career veteran of The Walt Disney Company, has been appointed president of Baha Mar Resorts Ltd., in the Bahamas. The announcement was made today by Sarkis Izmirlian, CEO, Baha Mar Resorts. As president, Mr. Robinson will manage day-to-day responsibilities for Baha Mar, including leading Phase One development of the project; brand marketing; coordinating cross-property services; and leading the operations and renovations of Cable Beach Resorts, the three properties acquired by Baha Mar in 2005 located side-by-side along Nassau´s famed beach and currently undergoing extensive renovations.

The high-speed train service that links the UK with France and Belgium, Eurostar, said last week is to lead the largest ever international campaign to boost tourism to London, Paris and Edinburgh on the back of this spring´s release of blockbuster movie, The Da Vinci Code, from Columbia Pictures. Eurostar, in a release, said it is working with tourism officials in England, France and Scotland to capitalize on the success of the film adaptation of Dan Brown´s controversial book, which has already been credited with increasing tourism to locations featured in the plot.
