The Barcelona International Convention Center (CCIB) took the Silver prize for the Best Overseas Conference Center in the Meetings & Incentive Travel Industry Awards (M&IT Awards).

The Aruba Tourism Authority was very pleased with the recent news that its public relations agency of record, Quinn & Co., brought home a silver medal award from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) 2008 Adrian Awards for their work in promoting the island of Aruba.

Starting April 1, Ricarda Lindner will assume the position of General Manager of the Americas for the German National Tourist Office (GNTO) in New York. A crew member working on a Port Canaveral-based cruise ship filed a lawsuit Tuesday in federal court against Carnival Corp., accusing the Miami-based cruise line company of “forced labor, slavery and/or human trafficking” of her and other crew members aboard Carnival ships.
