The Caribbean remains a top destination among cruisers, and more are bringing their children along for the journey, according to a new survey by the Cruise Lines International Association.
Travelzoo announced that C.J. Kettler has stepped down as president of North America, effective immediately. Shirley Tafoya, Travelzoo’s senior vice president of sales, has been named president of North America on an interim basis. The company will begin a search for a new North America president immediately.

Pleasant Holidays has added JetBlue Airways to its product line. Pleasant Holidays customers can now take nonstop flights to vacation destinations such as Las Vegas, Mexico, Bahamas and the Caribbean.
Glamour Tours, Jamaica’s leading destination management tour company, recently launched operation in Cayman and Turks & Caicos offering service to the wider Caribbean. The move came after Glamour conducted a reconnaissance of the Caribbean as well as its own operations with an eye for expansion.
United Airlines said Thursday it will charge a 15-dollar service fee to check one bag for domestic travel on an economy ticket to help offset record fuel prices.
