Global business and leisure hotel bookings remained steady in October according to Pegasus Solutions. As bookings continued a steady year-to-date climb for both channels, rates paid improved slightly over prior year.

The expansion of the Frigate Bay Beach Hotel in St Kitts will include the addition of 12 new rooms when it reopens in January 2015.

The property, which closed Nov. 1 to begin its renovation, would have 76 rooms upon completion, according to a spokesman.

AMResorts and NH Hotels are expanding their three-year partnership with the opening of Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic. Set to officially open on November 15, 2013, Breathless Punta Cana will be the first Breathless Resort & Spa.
