The Carnival Pride will operate eight-day cruises from San Diego to the Mexican Riviera beginning in March 2009, Carnival Cruise Lines said.

MSC Cruises is offering a “Summer Celebration” value-added bonus on select Caribbean cruises this winter. The group offer gives a $100-per-stateroom shipboard credit for each ocean-view stateroom booked in a group between June 21 and August 31 for a winter 2007-08 10-night Caribbean cruise on the MSC Lirica.

Carnival Corp. will transfer a ship from one of its 10 cruise brands to launch the new cruise line being formed by Carnival and German tour operator TUI, Carnival said today.

Citing consumer demand, Princess Cruises is doubling its world cruise offerings in 2009. The 670-passenger Tahitian Princess, along with the 710-passenger Royal Princess, will offer similar 107-day itineraries embarking at Fort Lauderdale in January.
