A press conference on board the Malta-flagged TSS Sky Wonder, that is presently berthed at Grand Harbor Pinto Quay, was held to mark the return to Malta of Pullmantur Cruises, whose TSS Sky Wonder will be making weekly calls to Valletta until 31 October.

Majestic America Line has announced a collection of 77 theme cruises in 2008 designed to showcase natural and cultural treasures of the United States. Among the options are the new “Rediscover New Orleans” journey or the classic “Fall Foliage” and “Spring Pilgrimage” programs. The theme cruises will feature presenters, entertainers and educational shore tours.

Carnival Corp. said that it has reached an agreement with the government of St. Maarten to provide $34.5 million in funding for the construction of an additional two-berth docking facility on the island.
