The Montserrat Tourist Board has just announced the release of Windward Island Airways’ (Winair) revised summer flight schedule that includes a minimum of three daily non-stop flights from V.C. Bird International Airport in Antigua to John A. Osborne Airport in Montserrat during the months of July and August.

Airline customer satisfaction has declined for a third consecutive year to a four-year low in 2009, according to J.D. Power and Associates.

Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA, Brazil’s second-largest airline, is adding routes to the Caribbean and smaller domestic cities while scaling back flights in the rest of South America as demand slows, Chief Executive Officer Constantino de Oliveira Jr. said.

Republic Airways Holdings has announced that it is acquiring Milwaukee-based Midwest Airlines from TPG Capital, a Fort Worth, Texas-based private equity firm. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in four to six weeks.

Air Jamaica will be the official airline of the Fourth Annual Jamaica Invitational Pro-Am, which will be held Dec. 2 to 6. The golf tournament will feature Pro-Am teams from the U.S., Canada and Europe competing for team prizes and a $15,000 purse for the professionals.
