British Airways is to introduce a second scheduled weekly flight into St. Kitts’ Robert L Bradshaw International Airport early next year.

St. Lucia’s popular Coco Palm boutique hotel in Rodney Bay Village is getting ready for JetBlue Airways’ inaugural service to the island, which starts on Monday, October 26, 2009.

American Airlines is offering low fares to the Caribbean, the Virgin Islands, Mexico, the Bahamas and Bermuda for travel through Nov. 19. Fares are available from the U.S. to destinations throughout the Caribbean, the Virgin Islands, and Mexico. Tickets must be purchased no later than Sept. 15.

ARC said that JetBlue Airways has signed on to be an ARC-participating carrier with sales beginning in 2010. In doing so, they join an all-time record number of airlines that are leveraging ARC’s settlement and technology solutions to broaden their ticket distribution.

JetBlue Airway applied for authority from the government of Jamaica to begin offering two new routes linking Montego Bay to its expanding focus cities in Boston and Orlando, Fla.

Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) has received official word from AirTran Airways that the necessary paperwork with the US Department of Transportation (DOT) for non-stop direct service on a weekly basis from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Orlando International Airport to Aruba has been filed.
