British Airways to Introduce Second Flight to St. Kitts

British Airways is to introduce a second scheduled weekly flight into St. Kitts’ Robert L Bradshaw International Airport early next year.
This was disclosed Tuesday afternoon by St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Denzil Douglas during talks with outgoing British High Commissioner to the Federation, Duncan Taylor.
“Your contribution towards the introduction of the weekly flight by British Airways into St. Kitts last year is one of the specific hallmarks of your tenure in solidifying the good relationship between Britain and St. Kitts and Nevis,” Douglas told Taylor, who was on his farewell visit.
Douglas, who is also Minister of Tourism told High Commissioner Taylor that the second British Airways (BA) flight from Gatwick-London is to commence in March 2010.
British Airways introduced its first scheduled into St. Kitts’ Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport on Saturday January 10, 2009. There was no immediate information on the day the second flight will operate.
