Nicaragua’s Tourism Minister Mario Salinas Pasos, in an exclusive interview for CND, announced the start of regular operations by Air Nicaragua beginning in July and featuring three weekly flights between that Central American nation’s capital and Havana.

JetBlue Airways is adding a third daily flight between Fort Lauderdale and Nassau. The increased service builds on the success of JetBlue’s existing nonstop Nassau service from Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, New York (JFK) and Boston.
American Airlines has filed an application with the U.S. Department of Transportation for the right to fly 10 additional U.S. – Brazil weekly frequencies that it will use to add service from its Miami hub. American proposes to increase its current service from Miami to Brasilia and Belo Horizonte, and to launch new service from Miami to Manaus.
