St. Kitts and Nevis has given permission and is ready to welcome scheduled flights into the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport by REDjet, the region’s first low fare airline.

Delta Air Lines said it will add a new Latin American destination from its Minneapolis-St. Paul hub, and expand flying to Brazil, as it continues an expansion into key Latin American markets. Delta will begin new year-round weekly flights between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Liberia, Costa Rica, beginning in January 2012. The service will operate every Saturday using 160-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

American Eagle Airlines will reinstate service to La Romana-Casa de Campo International Airport (LRM) in the Dominican Republic from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan (SJU), twice a week (Friday and Sunday) beginning Nov. 18. The new service will be operated with 64-seat ATR-72 aircraft.

JetBlue Airways, in partnership with the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board, is pleased to announce plans to further expand its successful Caribbean network with the addition of Westchester County Airport's (HPN) only international flight, offering daily nonstop service to Nassau, Bahamas (NAS).

Vision Airlines is now selling tickets to Grand Bahama Island; flights will start Nov. 3. The flights will originate from Fort Lauderdale, Fla; Louisville, Ky.; Richmond, Va.; Raleigh/Durham, N.C.; and Baltimore/Washington airports.

American Airlines will expand its presence in South Florida, adding new service between Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles (LAX), as well as increasing its service to Chicago O'Hare and Dallas/Fort Worth.
