American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia Airlines are putting business class tickets on sales on nonstop flights from 20 cities in the United States to London and Manchester in the U.K. in a promotion capitalizing on Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee.

American Airlines filed an application with the U.S. Department of Transportation for the right to fly 17 additional U.S.-Brazil weekly frequencies later this year. American said it will use these frequencies to add service from its Miami and New York and proposes to increase its current service between JFK and Sao Paulo, as well as between Miami and Rio de Janeiro.
