Jet2.com, a UK-based low-cost airline operating out of Leeds Bradford Airport, has announced the commencement of its service to the island of Ibiza, in Spain. The airline celebrated its initial flight to Ibiza with a party for its passengers at Glasgow Airport, in Scotland.

Porter Air, the luxury business airline servicing 19 cities across Canada and the United States has begun a new daily route between Washington DC and Toronto. Two center incentive trips have seen the appeal in the business quality flights, business quality island airport and minimal transfer times.

JetBlue launched two new routes in the last week; one between Puerto Rico and Florida, and one intra-state in Massachusetts. On 15 May, the airline began operating daily from San Juan (SJU) to West Palm Beach, FL (PBI) in southeast Florida using 150-seat A320s.

The Business Travel Coalition (BTC) and Consumer Travel Alliance (CTA) have joined forces to denounce Delta Air Lines' alleged practice of charging frequent-flier members higher airfares on its website than consumers who did not identify themselves as members.
