Regional airline LIAT has acknowledged the findings of investigators into the June 10 fire at its hangar. While the investigation is continuing, the law enforcement authorities have ruled out arson as the cause of the fire which destroyed one of the company’s two hangars, an aircraft and two office buildings.

Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) has launched a national marketing campaign enticing travelers to learn to salsa on the eastern Caribbean island. Renowned for its 212 miles of spectacular coastline, Puerto Rico welcomes around 3.7 million tourists every year. The PRTC hopes the new campaign will raise its profile even further.

Copa Airlines has added Liberia, in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste province, to its list of destinations with the launch on 24 June of a new flight from Panama. Copa Airlines chose to open this new route to Guanacaste in recognition of the growing popularity of this region as a holiday and adventure tourism destination.
