JetBlue Airways announced its intent to serve Medellin, Colombia with the addition of daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Jose Maria Cordova International Airport (MDE) starting June 2013.

Caribbean nationals looking to travel for the holidays have quite an interesting task ahead of them, as regional ticket prices continue to skyrocket despite the economic challenges. But regional airline LIAT says it’s not their fault the fares are so high.

According to Tropic Air, their new service will run between the Maya Flats airstrip located midway between San Ignacio Town and Benque Viejo del Carmen on the Guatemalan border, and the domestic airports at San Pedro and Belize City.
