GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A., the largest low-cost and low-fare airline in Latin America, announces air traffic preliminary figures of January 2013. Load factor in the domestic market came to 2.1 p.p. up over January 2012, reaching 73.5 percent in the period.
Air France-KLM saw net losses increase 47 per cent to €1.19 billion in 2012, after a €471 million restructuring charge and a €890 million increase in its fuel bill hit results. However, the Franco-Dutch airline saw operating losses fall to €300 million, down from €353 million the year before.

Air France is continuing to expand its long-haul international network, the largest in the world, with a new destination in South America: Montevideo. The capital city of Uruguay will be served as from 16 April 2013 by 5 weekly flights, as an extension of the flight to Buenos Aires.
