Coined one of the most beautiful destinations in the world, Montego Bay, Jamaica, is home to sun, sand, a storied history and an unrivalled island vibe. It’s also home to Sangster International Airport, the Caribbean’s Leading Airport as named by World Travel Awards in seven of the past eight years.

Cuba has attracted the largest number of 2014 holiday bookings in the Caribbean region from British tourists. Jonny Marsh, CEO of Loveholidays, said Cuba was the most popular Caribbean destination, accounting for 70 percent of bookings to the region for 2014.

Brazilian tourism officials say that the country has stepped up efforts to lure more foreign tourists as Brazil gears up to host 2014 World Cup.

VisitBritain’s latest trade mission is taking place in Brazil, the BRIC country leading on growth of visits to the UK in the last five years. Since 2007 there has been a 97% increase in visits to Britain from Brazi.

The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism is offering travel agents exclusive special offers on airfare, accommodations, scuba diving and attractions as part of its “Caymankindness” promotion. Several local dive operators are offering discounts on scuba diving, including trips to the Kittiwake and East End Wall.
