St Lucia is seeing an increase in traffic from its largest tourist source market, the government said this week. So far this year, arrivals from the United States are up 12 percent through the first 11 months of 2013, with a total of 116,982.

The governments of the Bahamas and China have agreed to allow mutual 30-day access to Bahamian and Chinese passport holders without requiring a visa. The agreement was signed Thursday in a ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nassau, the Bahamas.
