Wyndham Hotels and Resorts announced the appointment of Danna Holck as general manager of the 600-room Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa, a Wyndham Grand Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

The Leading Hotels of the World has accepted the following new member hotels: the 150-room Hotel Villa Magna in Madrid; the 229-room PuLi Hotel and Spa, to open in Shanghai this summer; the 188-room Elysian in Chicago, set to open in July; the 150-room The Mark hotel in New York City, which will soon reopen after a renovation; and the 320-room Tivoli Sao Paulo-Mofarrej.
The Caribbean Society of Hotel Association Executives (CSHAE) recently elected a new executive committee headed by Frank Comito of the Bahamas Hotel Association at its annual Leadership Conference during the ARDA Convention earlier this month in Orlando.
