In just two months’ time, the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) will host its annual congress in Puerto Rico. The 2012 ICCA Congress kicks off on October 20th and is expected to bring an anticipated 700 meeting planner-members of the organization from around the globe to San Juan.

Hilton Worldwide named Bill Murphy as Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role, Murphy will be responsible for managing the company’s global technology team and infrastructure, as well as its technology business partnerships. He will also retain his previous responsibilities, when he held the title of the company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) since early 2012.

Puerto Rican authorities are trying to recover the body of a New York City woman who has apparently drowned in a popular tourist spot. Police say the body of Bronx resident Kenah Huggins was found Sunday in a river in El Yunque, the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest system.
