Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide sponsored two of the eight CHTA Education Foundation (CHTAEF) scholarships − collectively totaling $28,900 − presented at the Antiguan award ceremony, July 23, 2012 at Curtain Bluff in Antigua. In 2012, the CHTAEF awarded a total of 35 scholarships after receiving 70 applications covering 15 Caribbean countries.

The latest traffic figures for Europe’s airports released today reveal a disappointing summer season in traffic terms. Overall passenger traffic at European airports in the month of July reported growth of just +1.1 percent. Overall freight traffic declined by -3.2 percent.
