Barbadian pop star Rihanna has joined forces with the Barbados Tourism Authority, releasing a new social media campaign to entice tourists to the beautiful Caribbean island.

New York-based developer David Edelstein, and Los Angeles-based hospitality group sbe, helmed by its founder, chairman and CEO, Sam Nazarian, announced the joint acquisition of South Beach’s Raleigh Hotel from the Brilla Group. The property will service as the flagship for the expansion and optimization of the new Raleigh brand.

A drug-sniffing dog found a cargo of 109 (240 pounds) kilograms of cocaine in a small tourist bus on Friday night. The discovery was made around 9pm, as agents were conducting a routine inspection. The drugs were found under the floor of the bus, , in a compartment located in the isle of the vehicle.

US Airways is expanding its global reach with new bilateral codeshare agreements with Avianca, TACA and South African Airways. The moves have received approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation. The deals offer a single-ticket purchase for a seamless travel.
