Carnival Corporation has announced its plan to split the roles of chairman and chief executive officer. By 1987, Carnival Cruise Lines had become the world’s largest cruise operator and Arison took the company public.

Martinique will be embarking on a project to renovate the French department’s Aime Cesaire International Airport. Serge Letchimy, president of Martinique’s Regional Council, signed the agreement on Monday with Frantz Thodiard and Manuel Baudouin, the CEO and chairman of the supervisory board of the airport, respectively.
