Puerto Rico’s group business for this summer starts off strong with 47 events, including, conferences, annual meetings and sports activities for this summer season.
Winners of the 19th edition of the Cubadisco 2015 International Fair in different categories were announced on May 14. Like every year, artists from Musicalia, the agency for artistic representation run by ARTEX, walked off with several awards.
A photographic exhibit entitled “Con el morir la vida” was opened at Francisco Prat Puig Cultural Center to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the passing of Jose Marti and half a century of the foundation of Santiago de Cuba village. In year-over-year comparisons, occupancy in New York City decreased 0.2 percent to 75.2 percent; average daily rate fell 4.1 percent to US$204.18; and revenue per available room dropped 4.3 percent to US$153.63.
